WAR: Pakistan’s military moves in defensive posture-Analysis

The threat of war is real. Rupee News identifid the 4th battle of Panipat months ago. Is Delhi preventing the 4th Battle of Panipat or instigating it? Perhaps Saddam Husein was right–this is the mother of all battles.

Pakistan shattering the nutcraker- pre-empting Indian “Cold Start” limited strikes

WILD CARDS:

Economic sense may prevail in Delhi, but is seems unlikely. There is too much venom. the BJP has played a good game. It has the Congress in a vice. If the Congress exercises the “do nothing option” it will loose the elections. If the Congress blames internal terrorists it will face the retribution of the electorate for having failed to protect them. if the Congress Party is over assertive it may risk actual war. If it is as assertive as possible, it needs the cooperation of Pakistan and it may want mr. Zardari to make it sound as if it blinked. Mr. Obama is hoping for and pressuring the Pakistani government to blink. The Zardari government faces oblivion. Already charged with being too compliant to the Americans and too obsequious to the Indians, if it is seen to blink by the Pakistan, it will be swept from power forever.

THE ANALYSIS OF THE THREAT:

India is caught in a Catch 22-it cannot blame the real culprits in the Mumbai matter–inernal terrorists. Doing so will make it sound weak and unabe to defend itself. It has to blame Pakistan and then it has to show assertiveness or the current Congress Government will be swept from power. As feverish diplomatic activity tries to delay the Pakistani response and blunt the affectiveness of the preparedness, India is poised and ready to go to phase two of Operation “Kali Aandhi”, the Pakistani armed forces are fully cognizant of the US and Indian plans. Pakistan may not wait for the Indians to implement their “Cold Start Strategy”. The Missiles will be launced even before the Indian planes hit their targets. Rupee News has published a great analysis by Usman Khalid which has analyzed the Statfor analysis. The ‘Immediate’ battle & the ultimate war in South Asia.

Given this, the Indian government has two choices. First, it can simply say that the perpetrators are a domestic group. In that case, it will be held accountable for a failure of enormous proportions in security and law enforcement. It will be charged with being unable to protect the public. On the other hand, it can link the attack to an outside power: Pakistan. In that case it can hold a nation-state responsible for the attack, and can use the crisis atmosphere to strengthen the government’s internal position by invoking nationalism. Politically this is a much preferable outcome for the Indian government, and so it is the most likely course of action. This is not to say that there are no outside powers involved — simply that, regardless of the ground truth, the Indian government will claim there were. That, in turn, will plunge India and Pakistan into the worst crisis they have had since 2002.

If the Pakistanis are understood to be responsible for the attack, then the Indians must hold them responsible, and that means they will have to take action in retaliation — otherwise, the Indian government’s domestic credibility will plunge. The shape of the crisis, then, will consist of demands that the Pakistanis take immediate steps to suppress Islamist radicals across the board, but particularly in Kashmir. New Delhi will demand that this action be immediate and public. This demand will come parallel to U.S. demands for the same actions, and threats by incoming U.S. President Barack Obama to force greater cooperation from Pakistan. • WEAKNESSES:

Let us look at the extreme positions. The Pakistani army collapses without a fight and India wins the spoils of war. This will destabilize India for the next two centuries. 160 million armed and crazy Pakistani mingled with the militants from Afghanistan will eliminate any chances of India ever moving forward with any economic growth.

The chances of the Pakistani Army capitulating are minimal to none. There are too many non-state armed players to make any spoils of victory bitter for the ‘victor”. An otugoing general may go crazy and take the rest of the world with him.

    THE STRENGHT AND THE OPPORTUNITIES:

Stratfor’s analysis seems to be accurate. However it suffers from some basic flaws.

Pakistan has just had a regime change. The new government is of secular political parties eager to please both America and India. It is intensely despised for not standing up to the US and to India to protect Pakistan’s interests. The attack on Marriot Hotel was carried out by RAW but the government did not make the information public. India has denied Pakistan its rights on water of Rivers Sutlej, Ravi, Chenab and Jhelum but the Zardari regime has not even made a protest. If Pakistan is bombed more aggressively by the USA as suggested in the STRATFOR analysis, the people are not going to wait for the next elections to get rid of the Zardari regime. Armed cadres that exist in every province of Pakistan will take the law into their hands. A revolution is likely to fill the vacuum that emerges from Pakistan becoming a ‘failed state’. Those who hope that Pakistan would break up would be disappointed. Neither Afghanistan nor Iraq broke up despite the wishes of the occupiers. The unity among the people in Pakistan is much stronger than those two countries. If the armed forces and the Banking System survived the revolution, Pakistan will emerge stronger and united. And Revolutions recognise no borders. It is India that may break up because the atrophy of the society in that country is much more advanced.

India has made its continued occupation of Muslim majority state of Jammu and Kashmir a matter of honour and prestige. Sikh majority Punjab and the federal state of the seven sisters of Assam (some of them with Christian majority) are next in the queue to become sovereign independent states. USA and India have raised hopes in these independence movements by supporting self-determination in Baluchistan and Pashtunistan. The situation having been unfrozen, all these freedom movements would achieve legitimate and popular objectives once the regular armed forces of both countries falter and fail as is very likely in consequence of Indo-US efforts. The Pashtun being in the vanguard of the Islamic Movement, and the secession of Baluchistan being supported by three out of fifty tribes of Baluchistan, it seems very unlikely that the US plans against Pakistan would succeed. However, it is more likely that older and more popular independence movement in India might succeed. Destabilisation resulting from Indo-US plans against Pakistan would produce results much more surprising than in Iraq or Afghanistan. Can India take that risk? The ‘Immediate’ Fights the’ Ultimate’ in South –Central Asia By Usman Khalid

    THE SITUATION ON THE GROUND:

As expected, after Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan is the next Muslim domino that is under attack. General Hamid Gul has been saying this for the best part of the decade. If the Iraqis had not offered such stiff resistance and the Afghan had not routed NATO, the attack on Pakistan would have come a lot sooner.

WASHINGTON: India and Pakistan have not changed their nuclear posture or made overt military moves since terror attacks in Mumbai despite heightened political tensions, a US military official said Tuesday. “Militarily, the temperature is pretty low right now,” said the official, who asked not to be identified.

The official said Pakistan moved some aircraft and air defense units to the border after the Indians pointed a finger at Pakistan as the source of the attack.

But the Pakistanis have moved no ground forces, and “on the nuclear side nothing at all,” the official said. “The Indians have showed great restraint, militarily. As a matter of fact, no change (in posture),” he said. “There is diplomatic activity and political activity. That is where it is happening right now.”  AFP/Reuters. • Total incompetence & Systematic failure at all levels in Mumbai
  • Pakistani response to “India’s Cold start strategy”: Limited strikes against targets vs Hot War leading to Nuclear Armageddon
  • RESPONSE TO THE THREAT:

The Pakistanis are not taking any chances with Indian threat and the apparent Barack Obama signal to India that she has a right to defend herself. Pakistan also has a right to defend itself. Defensive measures include:

    1) Tactical aircraft and air defense units have been moved to forward positions on the Eastern front. The Ladakh sector has come to occupy lofty status in the IAF’s calculus as was evident when it reactivated the 2.1-km airstrip at Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) in northeastern Ladakh after 43 years. The reduced size of the Indian AIr Force and its decision to place its aircarfts in forward bases in Tezpur (Northeast India), and Ladakh (Indian Occupied Kashmir) shows some sort of frustration on the part of the decision makers. The Northeast and Ladakh placement of Su IAF jets threatens China and attempts to intimidate the Pakistanis. The Pakistan Airforce (PAF) has taken corrective actions and for the first time since 1947 may achieve parity  with the IAF.

    2) 24/7 radar readiness has been executed.

    3) Hatf 3 and Hataf 4 Missiles have been readied and targets fed into the avionics. Targets include Indi’as forward airforce bases in Halwara, Adampur, Jamnagar and the new one in Ladakh. India attempts to threaten China from Ladakh & Northeast

    4) Nuclear weapens have not been moved. Nor have the nuclear tips been assembled, but this can be done on short notice during satallite blindspots.

    5) There has been no mass movement of  army, but units have been readied awaiting any movement from the Indian side. If things don’t cool down by within the next few days all leaves will be cancelled and reserves will be called in and a cease fire will be decalred on the Western front.

    6) Within a week if things do not go back to normal, Pakistani territory wil lbe daclared a no fly zone and any done inside Pakistan will be shot down.

    7) PAF counters IAF: http://rupeenews.com/2008/04/26/paf-counters-iaf-strategy/

    8) 150,000-250,000 irriegulars are ready to go deep into Indian territory to cause havoc inside India. 10 persons kept all of Mumbai hostage for 60 hours. 150,000 irreigualrs smuggled into India from the Cease Fire Line, across the international border Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lnak and via sea smuggling routes will be sent prior to the begining of actual hostilities.

    9) Hundreds of speedboats with a suicide mission await the Indian Navy, if it attempts to do a Naval blockade.

    10) In case of an attack it is expected that the Kashmiris wil cause problems for the 800,000 soldiers trapped in Kashmir

    11) There are also some special surprises planned.

The US is playing down the threat from India to keep the element of surprise.

The military restraint displayed by both sides is in sharp contrast with the charged political atmosphere in the wake of attacks by heavily armed gunmen on luxury hotels and other sites around Mumbai.
The Pentagon has also seen no signs that Pakistan is preparing to shift troops out of its tribal region near the Afghanistan border due to rising tensions with India, a US defense official said on Tuesday.
“There are no indications that anything is happening. Nothing has happened or is planned to happen in that vein,” said the defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about the situation Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
“It’s business as usual,” the official added.

Under pressure from Washington, Pakistan has recently stepped up military operations against militant strongholds in the border region, used as a training and staging ground for attacks into Afghanistan.

But officials in Islamabad have warned that any deterioration of ties with India after last week’s attacks in Mumbai would force Pakistan to divert troops to its Indian border and away from a US-led anti-militant campaign on the Afghan frontier.

Indian investigators have said the Mumbai attackers had months of commando training in Pakistan by a banned group - Lashkar-e-Taiba, blamed for a 2001 attack on India’s parliament.

The U.S. defense official said there are believed to be 100,000 to 120,000 Pakistani troops in the tribal area, including 50,000 members of the paramilitary Frontier Corps. - AFP/Reuters. US: Pakistan, India N-posture unchanged. Usman Khalid: Direcotr LISA-London: Great Britian

Proxy war in Afghanistan: Strategic depth vs Strategic clout. The story of Afghanistan and colonialism begins a long time ago. British tried to take up White Man’s burden in Afghanistan. It suffered badly in Kabul and could not hold it. NATO Lessons: 1880 UK defeat at Maiwand-Afghanistan.

Indian machinations in Kabul are reminiscent of the Marhattas provoking the Pakhtuns and the Balauch in the 18th century. With dreams of Mughal grandeur, the Marhattas began to think of themselves as successors to the Mughals. They began harassing the states of the Punjabis, Pathans and the Baluch. By aggravating the powers, they galvanized a grand alliance which included Ahmed Shah Durrani to the West and Siraj Ud Daulah to the East. The Marhattas ultimately paid the consequences of the harassment–they were decimated from history.

  • In my various discourses at the United Nations I have tried to explain that in history, whenever the Khyber is breached, India becomes vulnerable and the flash point is always within Indian boundaries typically at Panipat. For a long time we have tried to tell the world that the frontline has shifted from Afghanistan into Pakistan and the consequences for India, Middle East and China are obvious. It is the intent of the anti-peace and nihilistic people who wish to create a Trotsky-like formula, with the eventual goal of acquiring a stronghold in Pakistan. The world prefers to perceive this as an insurgency and does not recognise the potential of this movement in Afghanistan and Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province to spill over into adjoining countries, thereby widening the conflict.” Abdullah Hussain Haroon, Pakistan’s permanent UN representative, December 1st, 2008. CURTAIN CALL:

But the Ultimate is much more interesting. If India does not reinforce its garrison in Afghanistan, America would lose interest in what India has to offer. The USA would undertake a ‘surge’ and everybody including Pakistan want it to succeed because that is a part of its ‘exit strategy’. After USA scales down its forces in Afghanistan, India will be chased out if it did not leave even earlier than the US. Pakistan will be bombed much more by the Americans as well as the ‘resistance’ in consequence of 11/26. The rest is very uncertain because the narrative would not be written by any ‘state’ but by the ‘resistance’. I mean ‘resistance’ in Pakistan that has the ruling parties – the PPP, the ANP, and the MQM – in its sights. ++

The Pakistani response to the Indian “Cold Start Strategy” or limited strikes against Pakistan will be swift and punishing retribution. If any analyst thinks that “Cold start” will remain cold he or she is delusional and needs to be committed. India is the USA and Pakistan is not Afghanistan. If India does cross the border and sends aircraft to bomb any Pakistani territory, Islamabad will retaliate in a measured and limited manner. Any Indian bombing will be matched by an equal and opposite number of attacks on India. This will continue and if India wants to escalate, Pakistan will escalate too. Pakistan also reserves the right to use tactical and real Nuclear weapons. Tactical nuclear weapons have low radition affects while actual nuclear weapons cause colossal damage. However there is another scenario possible.

THE US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, will arrive in New Delhi tomorrow to discuss the Mumbai terrorist attacks amid turmoil at the top of the Indian Government and deep tension between the nuclear-armed rivals India and Pakistan.

The Government in New Delhi has been reshaped in the wake of the devastating strike on Mumbai, dubbed India’s September 11. The man responsible for counter-terrorism in India as home minister, Shivraj Patil, resigned on Sunday and was replaced by the former finance minister Palaniappan Chidambaram.

Mr Patil’s 4½-year tenure as one of India’s most powerful ministers was tarnished by 20 big terrorist strikes. The Mumbai attack, which killed more than 170 people, including two Australians, was the sixth deadly assault on a big Indian city since May.

There is anger in India after revelations that the terrorists entered Mumbai by water, despite several intelligence reports that the city was vulnerable to attack from the sea. There was also specific intelligence advice that the luxury hotels attacked last week were at risk.

India’s top security official, the National Security Adviser, M.K. Narayanan, also offered to resign but was turned down.

A spokesman for the US President, George Bush, said he was sending Dr Rice to New Delhi as “a further demonstration of the United States’ commitment to stand in solidarity with the people of India as we all work together to hold these extremists accountable”.Agence France-Presse. Last night she called on Pakistan to show “absolute” co-operation and “total transparency” with India in the investigation of who was behind the attack.

“I don’t want to jump to any conclusions myself on this, but I do think that this is the time for a complete, absolute, total transparency and co-operation and that is what we expect,” she said.

India’s Deputy Home Minister, Shakeel Ahmad, said yesterday it had been “very clearly established” that all the Mumbai attackers were from Pakistan.

But the Pakistani President, Asif Ali Zardari, warned that rogue militants had the power to provoke war in the region and appealed to India not to punish Pakistan for the attack.

“Events in Mumbai tell us that there are ongoing efforts to carry out copycat attacks by militants,” he told the Financial Times.

“We must all stand together to fight this menace.”

Islamabad has denied any involvement in the attack but New Delhi has demanded that it not “permit the use of its territory for terrorism against India”.

A Pakistani security official told local journalists at the weekend that Islamabad would move tens of thousands of its forces away from its border with Afghanistan to the Indian border if tensions continued to rise.

India’s new Home Minister, Mr Chidambaram, is expected to oversee an overhaul of the counter-terrorism apparatus, with the possible creation of a federal agency of investigation.

The deputy chief minister of Maharashtra and the state’s home minister, R.R. Patil, resigned yesterday after calling the attack on Mumbai a “small” incident.

The state’s Chief Minister, Vilasrao Deshmukh, also announced last night that he had offered to step down. with Agence France-Presse. Matt Wade in Mumbai December 2, 2008

The ‘Immediate’ battle & the ultimate war in South Asia

Sikand & Misra on Mossad, White blonde terrorists:

The ‘Immediate’ Fights the’ Ultimate’ in South –Central Asia By Usman Khalid

It has been repeatedly asserted by the ‘old guard’, who helped Barack Obama get elected as the President of the US, that his ‘mettle would be tested’ early in his Presidency by an ‘event’ in South Asia. That event has occurred - in Mumbai on November 26. The reaction of the USA and of India, as predicted in STRATFOR Summary (below), has precipitated. The ball is in Pakistan’s Court.

    SRATFOR Analysis

If the Nov. 26 attacks in Mumbai were carried out by Islamist militants as it appears, the Indian government will have little choice, politically speaking, but to blame them on Pakistan. That will in turn spark a crisis between the two nuclear rivals that will draw the United States into the fray.

At this point the situation on the ground in Mumbai remains unclear following the militant attacks of Nov. 26. But in order to understand the geopolitical significance of what is going on, it is necessary to begin looking beyond this event at what will follow. Though the situation is still in motion, the likely consequences of the attack are less murky.

We will begin by assuming that the attackers are Islamist militant groups operating in India, possibly with some level of outside support from Pakistan. We can also see quite clearly that this was a carefully planned, well-executed attack.

  • Hindu Anti-Semitism: Indian Commandos ignore & kill Jews? Deep rooted hatred of Jews in Gujarat & India
  • US Presidential Oath: Will Obama use middle name “Husein”?
  • Mumbai: Israel calls Indian forces lackadaisical, unprofessional, incompetent, untrained, slow, confused and inefficient

If that happens, Pakistan will find itself in a nutcracker. On the one side, the Indians will be threatening action — deliberately vague but menacing — along with the Americans. This will be even more intense if it turns out, as currently seems likely, that Americans and Europeans were being held hostage (or worse) in the two hotels that were attacked. If the attacks are traced to Pakistan, American demands will escalate well in advance of inauguration day.

There is a precedent for this. In 2002 there was an attack on the Indian parliament in Mumbai by Islamist militants linked to Pakistan. A near-nuclear confrontation took place between India and Pakistan, in which the United States brokered a stand-down in return for intensified Pakistani pressure on the Islamists. The crisis helped redefine the Pakistani position on Islamist radicals in Pakistan.

In the current iteration, the demands will be even more intense. The Indians and Americans will have a joint interest in forcing the Pakistani government to act decisively and immediately. The Pakistani government has warned that such pressure could destabilize Pakistan. The Indians will not be in a position to moderate their position, and the Americans will see the situation as an opportunity to extract major concessions. Thus the crisis will directly intersect U.S. and NATO operations in Afghanistan.

It is not clear the degree to which the Pakistani government can control the situation. But the Indians will have no choice but to be assertive, and the United States will move along the same line. Whether it is the current government in India that reacts, or one that succeeds doesn’t matter. Either way, India is under enormous pressure to respond. Therefore, the events point to a serious crisis not simply between Pakistan and India, but within Pakistan as well, with the government caught between foreign powers and domestic realities. Given the circumstances, massive destabilization is possible — never a good thing with a nuclear power.

This is thinking far ahead of the curve, and is based on an assumption of the truth of something we don’t know for certain yet, which is that the attackers were Muslims and that the Pakistanis will not be able to demonstrate categorically that they weren’t involved. Since we suspect they were Muslims, and since we doubt the Pakistanis can be categorical and convincing enough to thwart Indian demands, we suspect that we will be deep into a crisis within the next few days, very shortly after the situation on the ground clarifies itself.

The date 26th of November (11/26) may well turn out to be a watershed in the history of South and Central Asia because it marks a turning point in the clandestine war on Pakistan waged by India, America and Afghanistan. This war began with the invasion of Afghanistan in November 2001. Seven years later, the occupation forces are far from being in control. But it has taken that long for the people of Pakistan to realise that America has been in control all these years. The thousands of servicemen and civilians killed were hit either by American missiles or by ‘suicide bombers’ recruited by the Afghan Intelligence, operationally under the control of India’s RAW, and paid for by the CIA.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, the clandestine operations against Pakistan are not so clandestine any more. The military strategy as well as the overall strategy is being changed. The military strategy is to reinforce the troops in Afghanistan (on the pattern of the ‘surge’ in Iraq), intensify operations on both side of Afghan-Pakistan border, declare victory and withdraw the bulk of the troops from Afghanistan leaving India in charge. India has sent about 15,000 combat troops to Afghanistan but it is dragging its feet on sending more. Among the several objectives that the USA want to achieve from 11/26 is to get India involved in a war on Pakistan’s soil. India has reasons to hesitate.

    1. India has been engaged in three types of internal wars ever since it came into existence in 1947: 1) a caste war, 2) a class war, 3) a war on members of minority faiths – Muslims, Christians and the Sikhs. All these wars have become hotter after the rise of the BJP and 9/11. It is not because of any ideological or physical link; it is because of the aggressiveness of the Hindutva ideology and the audacity of 9/11. India had been able to use low castes in pogroms against the poor people of minority faiths. Not any more. The poor classes, the lower castes, and minority faiths now realise that their enemy is the same. The residents and occupants of the posh houses and hotels on the marine drive of south Mumbai represents the enemy. Many in India mourned but many more were secretly pleased. The Indian state is run by the upper class upper castes but not every soldier, policeman or civil servant is from the upper crust. India was frozen into inaction not merely by the audacity of the attack but also by doubts who it could trust? Despite clear evidence that every one of the attackers was Indian, the Government chose to blame Pakistan hoping that the people of India will unite in hate for Pakistan. But India is more petrified than vengeful. The ruling castes/class always feared but hoped that would never happen. More important, India’s foreign friends understand it even less. Strategic blunders are not just possible but are very likely.

The Immediate would largely conform to the STRATFOR analysis. ++

Sikand & Misra on Mossad, White blonde terrorists: What’s going on in Mumbai?

It is 4AM in India right now. I am in Mumbai reporting from the ground. I have not slept a wink. Mumbai is under attack. People and forces who killed Mahatama Gandhi, who demolished the Babari Mosque have triumphed. More than 16 groups of terrorists have taken over Taj, Oberai and several hotels. Hundreds of people are dead. For the first time no one is blaming Muslim organizations.

The Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare and other officers of the ATS have been killed. These were the same people who were investigating the Malegaon Blasts–in which Praggya Singh, an army officer and several other noted personalities of the BJP-RSS-Bajrang Dal-VHP were arrested. Karkare was the man to arrest them. Karkare was receiving threats from several quarters. LK Advani, the BJP chief and several other prominent leaders of the so-called Hindu terrorism  squad were gun ning for his head. And the first casualty in the terrorist attack was Karkare! He is dead–gone–the firing by terrorists began from Nariman House–which is the only building in Mumbai inhabited by Jews. Some Hindu Gujaratis of the Nariman area spoke live on several TV channels–they openly said that the firing by terrorists began from Nariman house. And that for two years suspicious activities were going on in this house. But no one took notice.

Our worst fears have come true. It is clear that Mossad is involved in the whole affair. An entire city has been attacked by Mossad and probably units of mercenaries. It is not possible for one single organization to plan and execute such a sophisticated operation. It is clear that this operation was backed by communal forces from within the Indian State. The Home Minister Shivraj Patil should resign. The RSS-BJP-VHP-Bajrang Dal should be banned. Advani and others ought to be arrested. Today is a day of shame for all Indians and all Hindus. Muslims and secular Hindus have been proven right. RSS type forces and Israel are all involved in not only destabilizing but finishing India. India should immediately snap all relations with Israel. We owe this much to Karkare and the brave ATS men who had shown the courage to arrest Praggya Singh, Raj Kumar Purohit, the army officer and several others.

A photograph published in Urdu Times, Mumbai, clearly shows that Mossad and ex-Mossad men came to India and met Sadhus and other pro-Hindutva elements recently. A conspiracy was clearly hatched.

This is a moment of reckoning especially for Hindus of India. The kille rs of Gandhi have struck again. If we are true Sanatanis and true Hindus and true nationalists and true patriots we have to see this act as a clear attack by anti-national deshdrohi forces. Praggya Singh, Advani and the entire brand is anti-national. They ought to be shot. Any Hindu siding with them is hereafter warned of serious consequences.

This is a question of nationalism. If no one else, the Indian army will not take this lying down. Communal, anti-national forces have attacked the very foundation of the Indian constitution and the nation. We will fight a civil war if need be against the pro-Hindutva, communal forces and their Israeli backers.  Amerish Misra

“This isn’t India’s 9/11. This is India’s Oklahoma City,” said Ms Fair, referring to an April 1995 domestic attack in the US that killed 168 people.”It is almost unimaginable that this could have been done entirely by outside militants without Indian involvement; implications are very dangerous,” she told Dawn.

    “There are a lot of “very, very angry Muslims in India. The economic disparities are startling,” she said. “This is a major domestic political challenge for India.” Ms Fair said it was not possible to deny what happened during anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat in 2002.”You have Islamist militants in India and you have a militarised Hindu right;

Pakistani think tanks are not working full time on the Indian threats. They already have the plans to respond to Indian limited strikes. The Pakistani establishment was pleasantly surprised by the overtures made by the militants in FATA and Waziristan. All of the sudden the clouds are clearing in Pakistan’s Northwest. In the mind of the people of Pakistan, the picture is crystal clear. The war on the Western front is America’s war. Pakistan’s National Assembly has already made it clear that it does not want war with its own people. Is Delhi preventing the 4th Battle of Panipat or instigating it?.

  • Pakistani response to “India’s Cold start strategy”: Limited strikes against targets vs Hot War leading to Nuclear Armageddon

  • US Presidential Oath: Will Obama use middle name “Husein”?

Mumbai Terror Attack: Further Evidence of the Anglo-American-Mossad-RSS Nexus BY AMARESH MISRA

Now who has the last laugh? That is the question; I only have pity for those who cannot see reality and who were so glib to buy into what the media and political troubleshooters were saying about the Mumbai Blasts. Consider this:

As a BBC report notes, at least some of the Mumbai attackers were not Indian and certainly not Muslim.Pappu Mishra, a cafe proprietor at the gothic Victorian Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station, described “two sprightly young men dressed in black” with AK47s who were “foreign looking, fair skinned.”Gaffar Abdul Amir, an Iraqi tourist from Baghdad, saw at least two men who started the firing outside the Leopold Cafe. “They did not look Indian, they looked foreign. One of them, I thought, had blonde hair. The other had a punkish hairstyle. They were neatly dressed,” Amir told the BBC.

According to Andrew G. Marshall, the ISI “has long been referred to as Pakistan’s ’secret government’ or ’shadow state.’ It’s long-standing ties and reliance upon American and British intelligence have not let up, therefore actions taken by the ISI should be viewed in the context of being a Central Asian outpost of Anglo-American covert intelligence operations.”The presence of “foreign looking, fair skinned” commandos who calmly gunned down dozens of people after drinking a few beers indicates that the Mumbai attacks were likely the work of the Anglo-American covert intelligence operatives, not indigenous Indian Muslims or for that matter Arab al-Qaeda terrorists. The attacks prepare the ground for the break-up of Pakistan and the furtherance of destabilizing terrorism in the Middle East and Asia. The Mumbai attacks had little to do with India or the relationship between Muslim Pakistanis and Hindu Indians.“Pakistan’s position as a strategic focal point cannot be underestimated. It borders India, Afghanistan, China and Iran,” concludes Marshall. “Destabilizing and ultimately breaking Pakistan up into several countries or regions will naturally spread chaos and destabilization into neighboring countries. This is also true of Iraq on the other side of Iran, as the Anglo-American have undertaken, primarily through Iraq, a strategy of balkanizing the entire Middle East in a new imperial project.” (See Marshall’s Divide and Conquer: The Anglo-American Imperial Project.)

Now I ask specifically: WHO HAS EGG ON THE FACE? MY DETRACTORS OR ME?

  • Mumbai: Israel calls Indian forces lackadaisical, unprofessional, incompetent, untrained, slow, confused and inefficient
  • Mumbai False Flag? Some inexplicable questions for India
  • Blue water navy sinks “mothership”- unable to protect Mumbai

Andrew Marshall is a respected author; he is clearly saying here that terrorists looked like Anglo-American covert operatives and that the entire Mumbai operation was an attempt by Anglo-American forces to destabilize India and push it further into the Israel-US orbit. Marshall also says that Americans are keen to dismember Pakistan–it is clear that in this project, America needs India as a firm ally–it cannot afford Indo-Pak friendship at least on a long-term basis. The Mumbai attack thus was multi-layered–and one of the reasons could be to warn India that the Anglo-American elite has the power to penetrate India, with the help of its own people. Clearly, the attackers would not have come from the sea route without some kind of a connivance of Gujarat and Maharashtra Governments with the terrorists, and the connivance of RSS type Hindutva elements as I will prove later in the piece.

This afore-mentioned report appeared on the BBC, a news agency which pro-west, Muslim-haters and all NRIs love to see. NOW I ASK THESE PEOPLE: why are you adopting double standards? Now a BBC report is incovenient because it militates against your idea of what happened in Mumbai?

Even the Indian Government is aware of this reality. That is why it is not issuing statements in a hurry and that is why the kind of Islamo-phobia seen earlier after Bomb Blasts is not being seen now. second report is more shocking–some news channels captured it but then it went off air:

One Police officer who encountered the gunmen as they entered the Jewish Center (Nariman House) said the attackers were white. “I went into the building late last night” he said. “I got a shock because they were white. I was expecting them to look like us. They fired three shots. I fired 10 back”.

The Nariman House affair brings the Mossad angle to the fore. Two of the `hostages’ killed in the Narimam House were identified as Rabbi Gabreil Holtzberg and his wife Rivka. They ran the center as spokespersons of the Chabad Lubavitch movement.

Now the Chabad movement is one of the many sects within Israel and Judaism. But of late it has come under the Zionist influence. Now what is Zionism? A brief digression would suffice: Zionism is the political ideology of racist Jews, just like Hindutva is the political ideology of a section of `race conscious’ Hindus. Just as a majority of Sanatani Hindus have opposed Hindutva, a majority of Jews oppose Zionism and its fascist-anti-religious tone.

In opposition to the teachings of Judaism, the orthodox Jew religion, Zionists want to dominate the world; they see the `Jewish race’ as the most important, almost divine, race in the world. Zionists are opposed to democracy and even the concept of naitonhood. Zionists believe in creating murder and mayhem as a matter of policy.

In America, Zionists have entered into an alliance with the American elites–the White-Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) forces–which rule America.  The reasons for this alliance lie in the way the Zionist agenda matches with that of the American corporate and WASP elite and is beyind the scope of this article.

People who do not understand Zionism will never be able to understand what happened in Mumbai.

Back to members of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement killed at Nariman House–people have asked how come the Rabbi and his wife were killed if Mossad is involved in the Mumbai terror attack?

The answer to this is being forwarded by Jewish anti-Zionist websites. They also detail the sectarian history of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement:

The attack on Mumbai spotlights the ultra-orthodox (haredi) Chabad-Lubavitch community and its international outreach network. When Chabad outreach (keruv) started in the 1950s, it seemed rather intellectually dishonest because the organization used nostalgia for a never-existent Jewish past as a hook to enmesh secular or secularized Jews in ultra-orthodox (haredi) practice as hozrim bitshuvah (returnees, sometimes improperly called baalei tshuvah), but on the whole the activity was mostly harmless in contrast with current Chabad activities, which long ago crossed the border into dangerous territory.

As the Lubavitcher organization has become larger and wealthier — partially because mobilization for keruv has brought large contributions, members have shown a propensity for corruption.

Yet, the Lubavitchers have worked closely with Jewish racists like Lawrence Summers and Alan Dershowitz in the ongoing attempt to control discourse on American campuses. The wealthy Russian Lubavitcher hozer bitshuvah Lev Leviev openly supports Zionist terrorism and settlement building in the Palestinan occupied territories. Possibly because of Leviev Chabad-Lubavitch has openly become involved in Putin’s struggles with Russian Jewish oligarchs.

Still, there is an even more sinister aspect to the Lubavitcher organization.

Because Lubavitcher outreach offices are located in some of the most important political, corporate and university centers throughout the world, the Lubavitchers have put together a network that is incomparable for corporate and international espionage as well as for the secret exchange of information. Because Chabad Houses could potentially act as safe houses, where there would be no record of a person’s stay.

Most people do not take the Lubavitchers seriously, but I have visited Chabad houses and encountered senior Israeli government or military officials (and probably intelligence agents). One can easily imagine that Neocon intelligentsia trying to develop a relationship with Hindutva (हिन्दुत्व) intelligentsia or politicians might have used the Chabad Nariman House as a meeting place.

Here a Jew is saying that he has visited Chabad houses and that he has seen covert operations going on and the involvement of senior Government and military officials of Israel. This Jew writer is also talking openly about a Neo-Con-Chabad-Hindutva tie-up!

  • Stopping the supply chain that rains terror on Pakistan
  • Indian Muslims: India in crisis-Creating terrorists of all kinds

The Jew writer mentions the Mossad involvement in Chabad Houses:

Because the Lubavitchers provide an unconditional welcome to all Jews in the hope of bringing them closer to the Lubavitcher way of life, the Lubavitchers have been open to potential subversion by Israeli intelligence organizations. Mossad and Shin Bet found it quite easy to penetrate the haredi community during the Yossele Affair. Jewish politics has often involved infiltration and subversion of one political group by another. The David Project Israel Advocacy organization has used its educational programs as a means to infiltrate more mainstream Jewish communal organizations with radical Islamophobes and Jabotinskian Zionists.

To Zionize haredi groups that practice outreach, the Israeli government need only give encouragement  to Zionistically indoctrinated Hebrew-speaking young people to participate in outreach programs, and in a few years the targeted haredi community is thoroughly enmeshed in Zionist thinking while Israeli intelligence organizations have a new crop of saya`nim in place ready to serve in Zionist covert operations.

hat is a sayanim? Go to the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sayanim and it states that  “Sayanim (Hebrew: “helpers”) is a term used to describe Jews living outside Israel who volunteer to provide assistance to the Mossad.[1] This assistance includes facilitating medical care, money, logistics, and even overt intelligence gathering, yet sayanim are only paid for their expenses. No official number is known, but estimates put the number of sayanim in the thousands. The existence of this large body of volunteers is one reason why the Mossad operates with fewer case officers than fellow intelligence agencies

Now back to the link http://eaazi.blogspot.com/2008/12/chabad-lubavitch-dangerous-game.html from which I was quoting the Jewish writer originally. He says that the Lubavitcher shluchim (outreach emissaries) Gavriel Noach and Rivka Holtzberg fit the `sayanim’ profile to a “T” — especially Rivkah.

So the two people killed in Nariman House fit the Sayanim, that is Jews outside Israel who volunteer to provide assistance to Mossad, profile!

NOW WHAT OTHER PROOF DO YOU WANT?

The Jewish writer of the afore-mentioned link himself asks the question: WOULD MOSSAD HAVE KILLED THE RABBI AND HIS WIFE IN NARIMAN HOUSE?

  • “Mothership” Somalis hijack Indian ship: Where is INS Tabor?
  • Mumbai: Intoxicated India deaf & blind to internal terror. Unable to introspect, resolve its huge race, caste & religious imbroglios
  • Hinduvata: All Indian Muslims brace for Gujarat type of violence

    AND HE PROVIDES THE ANSWER:

Zionists have always used dead Jews to build sympathy for Zionist goals and as cover for Zionist crimes against humanity.

Ben-Gurion explicitly stated that he would sacrifice German Jewish children for the sake of Zionism while the Zionist leadership probably learned the benefit of sacrificing Zionist operatives from the 1946 Kielce Pogrom. In this incident (Jewish) Soviet and Zionist agents probably worked together to make sure that surviving Polish Jews chose emigration to Palestine over a return to Poland.

ecause the Kielce Zionist recruiters were killed during the pogrom, the events  leading up to the pogrom was rendered forever unobtainable.

Some reports of the Mumbai attack indicate that the Holtzbergs rented space to the attack planners over the past few months and thereby helped make the operation far more effective.

An opportunity to interrogate the Holtzbergs would have helped investigators immensely.

AGAIN WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

Another piece of massive evidenceIn a telephone interview with CBC News from outside the Center (Nariman House), freelance journalists Arun Asthana said that there are reports that some of the militants had stayed at a guest house there (Nariman House) for upto 15 days before the attack. “They had a huge mass of ammunition, arms and food there”, Asthana said.

Now other reports have also confirmed that a huge mass of food was ordered by the residents of the Nariman House. This food was enough for 30-40 people for several days. Why was this amount of food ordered? Also why was Nariman House not assaulted till the very last? A Gujarati Hindu resident of Mumbai came onto TV on CNN-IBN to say at around 3.30 AM or so, that for two months suspicious activities wree going in Nariman House. A lot of foreigners were seen coming in and going out. This matter was reported to the Police. But no one took action.

The CNN-IBN did not repeat the news; then it was only when the common people of Mumbai threatened to storm the Nariman House the NSG commandos were moved in–why this delay in assaulting Nariman House when only two terrorists were holed in there?

This is sheer official complicity and nothing else–AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE WHOLE NARIMAN HOUSE AFFAIR IS A MUST.

Then it was reported that ” somehow surprising to learn that the terrorists in Cama hospital in Mumbai were fluently speaking Marathi. The terrorists who are said to have fired in Cama hospital talked to an employee clad in civil dress in Marathi, reports a Marathi daily‘Maharashtra Times’.

The newspaper said the terrorists who targeted ATS chief Hemant Karkare, police commissioner Ashok Kamte and encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar were speaking Marathi fluently.

The newspaper claims the terrorists having fired at two watchmen in uniform asked the other beside them on gunpoint in Marathi, ‘You are here an employee?’ The employee caught the legs of the terrorist and said, ‘I am not working here. My wife has suffered from heart attack and I have come here to admit her.’ The terrorist asked him again in Marathi, ‘You are speaking true or false?’ The employee answered, ‘No, by God I am speaking true.’

On this the terrorist let him go.

NOW WHAT DO WE MAKE OF THAT? Another report says that traditional Jews of Mumbai who have migrated to Israel speak fluent Marathi and are known to have been recruited by Mossad!

The death of Hemant Karkare remains a mystery. All official versions are contradictory: some say he was killed near CST, some that he died near Cama hospital, some near  Metro cinema, and some that he was killed while in a Police jeep. Also, where did the bullet hit him? Some say on the neck and some near the heart. Karkare was shown on TV wearing a bullet proof vest–he could not have been shot in neck in that case, unless there was a sniper waiting for him.

Also if he was shot near heart, then when did he take out his vest? No one has even bothered to answer this question. Also, another facet is coming to light: that Karkare was killed near Cama–but Kaamte and Salaskar in the Metro shootout!

Intelligent people–what do you have to say now? It is becoming obvious that…

    1. Several terrorists might have been white

    2. Were they International mercanaries? If yes, then from which country? Who collected them? It is well known that Mossad and CIA have several mercenary organizations, including so-called Jihadi ones on their list. They create Jihad and manipulate Muslims disaffected by the Islamophobia in the world. Some of them might have been used in the Mumbai attack. But why were they carrying American, British, Mauritian and Malaysian passports?

    3. Who were the Marathi speaking Karkare killers? The lane next to the Cama Hospital is a deserted one–it goes straight to the backyard of the Mumbai CID Headquarters. Anonymous sources in the Police have revealed that Karkare was taken there, by a joint team of  anti-Karkare, pro-Hindutva  Mumbai Police officers, and Chota Rajan men. Now Karkare was opposed to Chota Rajan. Salaskar was anti-Pradeep Sharma, another Mumbai senior Police officer now in jail, for working as Rajan’s shooter. So the Marathi speaking terrorists could either have been Jews with some connection to Mumbai–or hired killers of the Hindutva brigade or men of Chota Rajan.

    4. It seems that several things went on simultaneously–the Mahrashtra Chief Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh was in Kerala when the Mumbai attack began at 9.30 PM on 26th November. Then by 11PM Deshmukh had informed the Home Minister Shivraj Patil–the latter has started proceedings to send the NSG Commandos. So Deshmukh knew about what was happening by 11PM–then why was there no Mumbai Police on various locations between 9.30 and 1am, the time when Karkare arrived? The Mumbai ATS is a separate organization. it does not lead the Mumbai Police. So the 40,000 strong Mumbai Police was absent from the scene of action between 11pm to 1am and then Karkare arrived and he was killed along with his men!

Isn’t there something fishy here? Obviously the Mumbai Police was kept deliberately away between 11pm and 1am, the time period when terrorists were killing people merrily. Then Karkare must have been told–and he went there expecting Mumbai police personals to be there–but there were none or only a few! And he was killed! RAW role in fake India hijacking dramas: Why did India release hijacker Azhar?

India is not like an new born innocent baby when it comes to dealing with terrorists. It has used and abused the sentiments of people around the world and used hijackers to gain advantageous positions in international relations.

The list also included Masood Azhar, a suspected terrorist freed from prison in India in exchange for the release of hostages aboard a hijacked Indian Airlines aircraft in December, 1999, news reports said.

The New York Times with a track of forged and false stores is now publishing Indian reports as if they were God’s own words. The New York Times led the war hysteria on the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and even though it is the most liberal newspaper in America known for its investigative reporting led the world to believe that there were WMDs in iraq—paving the way for the invasion war ad ensuing colossal blunder that has bankrupted the USA and destroyed the well being and prosperity of the entire planet

MUMBAI, India — The Mumbai attackers came by ship from the Pakistani port of Karachi, the Indian police said Tuesday, the most direct link made to Pakistan so far.

With tensions high between Islamabad and New Delhi, the Mumbai police chief, Hassan Gafoor, gave some of the most specific details yet about the identity of the attackers and the nature of their the bloody rampage last week that left at least 173 people dead.

He repeated that the one gunman had captured alive was from Pakistan. That suspect has been identified as one Ajmal Amir Qasab, who Indian investigators said had admitted to being a member of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a militant Islamist group accused of carrying out terrorist attacks in Indian-administered Kashmir and elsewhere.

A police official in Mumbai said Mr. Qasab named several possible masterminds of the attack, including Yusuf Muzammil, who Indian authorities say is the Lashkar leader who spearheads actions on Indian soil.

Mr. Gafoor said the police were still verifying the nationalities of the nine attackers killed during their rampage. But he said there had been no British passport holders among them, contradicting some early news reports. The Indian authorities have maintained that the 10 accounts for all the attackers. NY Times–By ROBERT F. WORTH and GRAHAM BOWLEY Published: December 2, 2008

The question that many analysts are asking is: Why did India release Mr. Masood Azhar if he was a known terroirst and India has a policy of not dealing with the terrorists. India violated international agreements on hijacking by negotiating with the terrorists and the hijackers and negotiated a deal with the hijackers where the passengers would be released in exchange for the freedom of the hijackers.

Who knows what India has planned.

It has itself used hijacking as an instrument of foreign policy. In 1971 it used its own agents to hijack an Indian plane to Pakistan. The hijackers posed as Kashmiri militants but were Indian agents. the name of the plane was Ganga. It was hijacked to blame Pakistan for assisting terrorists. The ruse was used to stop West Pakistani over-flights to East Pakistan. The RAW agents who had been given asylum in Pakistan were arrested and later confessed to the entire drama.

Mr. Gafoor said the 10 had been trained by an ex-army officer, although he refused to specify which army the officer belonged to, and that all been trained in the same location, some for as long as a year, although he would not say where.

“The main plan was obvious — to create a sensation and to kill as many people as possible,” he told reporters.

Responding to questions about whether the gunmen had received assistance, he said the evidence suggested they had no collaboration from employees at the two hotels they attacked in Mumbai, and there was as yet no evidence they had help elsewhere in the city.

Tensions between India and Pakistan are now at their worse since 2001, when a suicide attack on the Indian Parliament pushed them to the brink of war.

American and Indian intelligence officials say there is strong evidence tying the attacks to the Lashkar group, which has been linked to Pakistan’s powerful intelligence agency. According to senior American government officials, satellite intercepts of telephone calls made during the siege directly linked the attackers in Mumbai to operatives in Pakistan working for Lashkar. The same group has been mentioned by some European security officials as linked to the attack. The American officials said there was still no evidence that Pakistan’s government had a hand in the operation. NY Times–By ROBERT F. WORTH and GRAHAM BOWLEY Published: December 2, 2008

India is now playing a similar drama requesting the extradition of 20 known terrorists. Pakistan has repeatedly said that it does not know the whereabouts of these people and Pakistan cannot be responsible for India trash. India needs ot be able to deal with its own trash.

Some new details have emerged about the difficulties faced by the Indian police commandos who responded to the killings here last week. The attackers used grenades to booby trap some of the bodies in the two luxury hotels where they struck, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower and the Oberoi, so they would explode when they were moved, according to Rakesh Maria, the joint commissioner of the Mumbai police. It was not always clear, he added, whether the people were dead or just wounded.

That tactic made fighting the attackers more difficult, and significantly delayed the cleanup after the violence ended, Inspector Maria said. The last militants were routed on Saturday morning, but the Taj hotel was not returned to the control of its owners until Monday morning.

The foreign minister, Pranab Mukherjee, increased pressure on Pakistan, demanding that the Pakistani government arrest and hand over about 20 people wanted for seven years under Indian law as criminal fugitives. Some were suspected gangsters with links to organized crime; none were believed to be linked directly to the attacks.

Meanwhile, he appeared to rule out an immediate military response against Pakistan, saying that “no one is talking about military action,” according to news reports.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was due to arrive in the region on Wednesday to demand Pakistan’s full cooperation with the investigation into the attacks and to calm relations. In an attempt to tamp down tensions between India and Pakistan ahead of Ms. Rice’s arrival, President Bush ordered Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to travel to India.

Pakistan seemed eager to lower the levels of easily-ignited passion that, in the past, have brought the two nuclear-armed neighbors into three wars. The Pakistan foreign minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, offered in a televised address to conduct a joint investigation with India into the Mumbai killings, Reuters reported, and said now was not the time for a “blame game.” NY Times–By ROBERT F. WORTH and GRAHAM BOWLEY Published: December 2, 2008

Pakistan also has handed over a list of Indian terrorists to India. India has refused to hand them over to Pakistan.

“Pakistan wants good relations with India,” he said.

President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan said in a television interview Monday night that if India shared the results of its investigation, Pakistan would “do everything in our power to go after these militants.” NY Times–By ROBERT F. WORTH and GRAHAM BOWLEY Published: December 2, 2008

Many of the fugitives sought by India were people it has been trying to arrest for years. They included Dawood Ibrahim, described in news reports as a powerful gangster and India’s most-wanted fugitive, who was accused of organizing bombings in Mumbai in 1993.

The list also included Masood Azhar, a suspected terrorist freed from prison in India in exchange for the release of hostages aboard a hijacked Indian Airlines aircraft in December, 1999, news reports said.

With elections just months away, the government needs to be seen as acting decisively in the face of the atrocities. But it could be accused of raising a red herring if it does not furnish convincing evidence for its claims of Pakistani involvement.

Indian intelligence officials issued at least one warning about a possible attack on the Taj Mahal and Oberoi hotels, but that was in September. Security was increased for a while and then relaxed, intelligence officials have said. There were reports of many other unheeded warnings, but it was not clear how many were actually communicated.

Reporting was contributed by Jeremy Kahn, Somini Sengupta and Ruth Fremson in Mumbai; India, Jane Perlez in Islamabad, Pakistan; Mark Mazzetti, David E. Sanger in Washington; Alan Cowell in London; and Graham Bowley in New York.NY Times–By ROBERT F. WORTH and GRAHAM BOWLEY Published: December 2, 2008

The Hinduvata connection to the Mumbai terrorism has been established without an iota of doubt. The Hinduvata connection not only proves the suspicions but also tells the world the direction the Indian Union is moving towards. india has insurgencies in almost all its states–40% of the land mass under the control of the Maoists.

Orissa erupts: Hinduvata extremists massacre Christian Dalits

Real bombs-Fake encounters, torso with fake beard: Hinduvata connection?

The bombs in India have been perpetuated by the Hinduvata and blamed on the Indian Muslimss.

    • “You blame SIMI for blasts in temples, you blame SIMI for blasts in market places, you blame SIMI for blast Masjids. The latest blast has taken place just below the SIMI office. Now whom will you blame ?“( Mailtoday, Oct 3, 2008)
    • The investigation in Samjhuta express blasts (66 killed, Feb 19, 2007) where six bombs were planted inside Indo-Pak Samjhauta Express has also not shown any progress and neither any organisation has been named.
    • The case of Mecca Masjid blasts ( 11 killed, May 18, 2007 -Friday) where two bombs were planted inside Mecca Masjid in boxes, is also pending with CBI.
    • The enquiry into Ajmer Sharif bomb blasts (3 killed, October 11, 2007 - Friday) where two bombs in tiffin boxes wee used and where ammonium nitrate bombs were triggered by mobile phone has also not made much headway. The case at present pending with Rajasthan police has also not named any organisation.

Sarkaar Raj: India going towards Hindu Talibanization? By Farzana Shah

The idea was to castigate the Muslims using terror tactics and blame the militants and Pakistan for direct involvement. But the methodology used was terror against Muslims. Swami, Sadhvi and an Indian army officer who was commanding a unit in Kashmir were involved. It was the army officer who was providing the arsenal to terrorize the helpless Muslims staying in slums of Malegaon. The biggest disclosure was that it all happened because of those who preach Ram Rajjya in India.

But who are these Muslim victims? Aren’t they Indians?

Sordidly speaking it is a chilling reality!

Mosque in Parbhani, Maharashtra, where an explosion injured several people in November 2003. Naresh Kondwar and Himanshu Phanse of Bajrang Dal, who were killed while making bombs in Nanded in April 2006, were allegedly responsible for bombing the mosque.

    Backdrop

When bomb blasts on the Samjhauta Express, a “friendship” train between Delhi and Lahore, killed 68 people mostly Pakistani passengers on February 17, 2007, many conspiracy theories made rounds at that time.

The Indian authorities even released ‘sketches of suspects’ after Samjhauta Express blasts suggesting Pakistan being the perpetrator for the incident while Indian media and officials were terming it an attempt by ISI.

The reaction was not different from that which had been shown in the past for every bomb blast within few minutes of such incidents without a shred of evidence. Similarly when in 2006 Malegaon town in the Nashik district of the Indian state of Maharashtra, located at some 290 km to the northeast of state capital Mumbai, was rattled by a series of bombings, the blame was being put on groups having links with Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The Maharashtra Police claimed that blasts are the handiwork of Student Islamic Movement of India most of the time linked by India with Lashkar-e-Taiba and ultimately with ISI.

But recently the arrest of 10 people, including a serving Lieutenant Colonel Prashad Srikant Purohit and a Hindu monk and nun for their alleged involvement in bomb explosions that killed six people in the Muslim-dominated town of Malegaon, this year had sent everything upside down.

Ten people, including a self-proclaimed Hindu seer and a serving lieutenant colonel, have so far been arrested for the Sep 29 bombing.

Besides Purohit, the other accused include Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Shivnarayan Singh Kalsangram, Shyam Bhawarlal Sahu, Major Ramesh Shivji Upadhyay (retd), Sameer Kulkarni, Rakesh Dattaram Dhavde and Ajay Rahirkar.

The suspicion is now directed towards the extremist Hindu movement Sangh Parivar while entire network is linked to another arrested former major Ramesh Upadhyay who represents the terrorist organisation Abhinav Bharat.

The chilling part of the entire episode is the involvement of accused Lt Col Purohit in bomb attack on the Samjhauta Express to which he confessed.

During investigation Col Purohit has also confessed to training Hindu terrorists for attacking Muslims, besides training them for attacking Samjhauta Express for which he had also supplied them RDX.

He further confessed that it was intended to cause armed conflict between Pakistan and India so that anti-Muslim passions could be nurtured in India, leading to violence.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) claimed that Purohit supplied RDX to one “Bhagwan” for Samjhauta Express blast.

Public prosecutor Ajay Misar said Abhinav Bharat’s treasurer Ajay Rahirkar had handed Rs2.5 lakh to Lt Col P S Purohit.

Mahant Amritanand Dev alias Dayanand Pandey, the self-styled pontiff who was arrested from Kanpur has revealed that it was under his instructions that Lt. Colonel Shrikant Purohit procured RDX from an army depot that was used in the Malegaon blast.
According to reports Pandey was present in all the pre-blast meetings in Bhopal, Jabalpur and Faridabad, monitored operations meticulously and was also responsible for arranging the finances that came in through illegal channels.
It is believed that Pandey, a dropout from the National Defence Academy, was in touch with two other accused who are on the run - Ramji Kalsangara, who allegedly planted the motorcycle owned by the Hindu ascetic Pragya Singh Thakur in Malegaon, and Sameer Dange.

The suspects are also questioned for May 2007 blast at Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad and the April 2006 twin blasts at New Delhi’s Jama Masjid.

In the Mecca Masjid blasts as many as 14 people were killed and over 50 injured. The case was investigated by the city police special wing and was later handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation which could not come to any conclusion.

Investigations into the Samjhauta Express explosion and the Jama Masjid blast also failed to make headway and police could not across on any tangible leads.
Police have already established a strong link between Pandey and some of the suspects in the Kanpur blast case through surveillance. On Aug 24, two members of the right-wing Bajrang Dal were killed there while assembling bombs.
After the arrest of Panday police is expecting to get some breaking clues in the 2006 Nanded blasts in Maharashtra as well.
The arrests have reinforced growing suspicions over the last few years of a potential threat from Hindu extremists.

Infiltration of Hindu Taliban in Army ?

    clip_image002

Interrogation of Major (retd.) Ramesh Upadhyay revealed that the Bhonsla Military School in Nashik was used as a training ground by the conspirators. The school has denied its involvement in the blast but it is under the scanner for allowing Bajrang Dal activists to hold training sessions in the use of arms and martial arts.

The school’s links to the RSS is an open secret as it was founded by B.S. Moonje, who was Savarkar’s close friend and who assisted in creating the RSS.

The arrest of the serving army officers and former officers’ link to the recent terror activities has led to a worrying aspect among the Indians that these revelations show how deep the infiltration of fundamentalist ideas into Indian army is.

The critics believe that the constant indoctrination of Hindutva ideology over decades by the VHP, the RSS, the Bajrang Dal and the BJP has resulted in this kind of violence.

Besides they are infiltrated into crucial areas like police force, army and the education departments.

Ram Punyani, secretary of the All India Secular Forum and a human rights activist, said that the deep and widespread ideological indoctrination began years ago but was propagated thoroughly during the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) regime.

It placed its members in the bureaucracy, particularly in the education department, and in the cultural arena, he said. “RSS people who once headed a department may have retired, but they have ensured that the damage continues, as they would have hired a number of like-minded people. So you can imagine how deep the penetration is. It will take generations to root this out,” said Punyani.

It is a well known fact that once George Fernandes had asked the army chief, the Air Marshal, and the Admiral to report the Kargil war to MPs. When the three went to the place it was the party office of BJP.

That is how the Saffron Brigade interferes in the affairs of the armed forces, directly.
The involvement of serving lieutenant colonel of the Indian army in blasts and supplying 60 kg of RDX for terrorism further casts a shadow over position of the army.

In the past BJP has been offering tickets to the former army officers, (many of them are former generals) for contesting elections for Lok Sabha on behalf of the party and to an extent it has been successful in wooing them.

One such retiree is the chief minister of Uttarakhand B C Khanduria retired Major General. Another retired officer Sabyasachi Bagchi who is member of BJP proudly says that RSS develops the character of the young people.
SS Raikar of Bhonsla military school is also a retired person from the army. He allowed the school premises for terror, hatching conspiracy as well as arms training and providing accommodation.
The former governor of Jammu and Kashmir Lt General (Rtd) S K Sinha has allegedly allowed Dyanand Padey to stay in the official residence.
Daynand Pandey was hosted by him in Raj Bhawan and the two had held a meeting in a famous temple in Kashmir.

It was Panday who had organized the protests of Hindus in Indian Held Kashmir during recent land transfer row. The violent protests were led by the Pandits assisted by Panday. He along with BJP and Kashmiri Pandits had planned and executed the economic blockade of Kashmiris.

RDX and Army connection: (Chilling clues)

    clip_image004

Lt Col P S Purohit who provided RDX for Samjhota Train blasts and also being interrogated for other bomb blasts in India.

On September two, 2006, Indian police in Ahmednagar seized about 195 kg of cocktail of explosives that included RDX from a local scrap dealer Shankar Shelke which was procured by him from Army Ordnance decommissioned as scrap.
A mobile phone from which he had made over 150 calls was also recovered and during investigation it was found that he had got a cellular connection on a fake name.
However, before police could arrest him, Shelke allegedly committed suicide and his employee could not provide any detail about Shelke and the case was closed as a suicide with no further investigation.

Now the investigations about how RDX was pilfered to some right wing groups allegedly responsible for Malegaon explosions led to this forgotten case of suicide of Shankar Shelk.
Some leads are now emerging that the deadly RDX could have been pilfered during such decommissioning of scrap from the Army.

In the past the law enforcing agencies of India have failed to find out the origin of such explosive used in different blasts, specially in Maharashtra where Bajrang Dal had been imparting explosive and arms training to its activists.
Where money for Hindutva terror comes from????

ATS said that the money was generally collected by a self-styled religious leader hailing from Gujarat.

According to reports the probe into links of Hindu outfits, accused of terrorism, with Army men brought a few business houses under the scanner of Maharashtra’s ATS and Central Security agencies investigating the finances of the group allegedly responsible for Malegaon blast.
Sources attached with the probe said that a religious leader from Southern Gujarat was one of those who collected funds from the business houses.
According to some other reports foreign funds were used in Malegaon attack.

But is also to be seen what is the source of these funds and how these funds end up in India, who are the end users?

Reportedly huge amounts of money collected in the US go into the accounts of VHP and other conglomerates of RSS. Sonal Shah and her father Ramesh have been in the core group of VHPA [America] and have been instrumental in sending fund under the name of Eklavya Vidyalaya for backward tribals.

It is also believed that finds collected from abroad by saffron brigade was used in the recent-anti Christian riots in Kanthamal of Orissa and other parts of India and in 2002 against the Muslims of Gujarat. The backward community of Charras was roped in by the RSS to wreak vengeance on the Muslims by slaughtering them. This confession is caught on camera.

There is no audit of this fund collected by saffron from US and western countries.

BJP lacks moral fiber, indulges in double talk.

    The BJP connection:

With the surfacing of this connection between Army personnel, BJP and terror now the party is also under scanner. Sensing the gravity of the matter and possible questioning in connection with the Malegaon bombings, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Yogi Adityanath refused to assist in the investigations.

“I dare the police to arrest me and I will offer no help in their probe,” he added.

The BJP and its allied Hindu extremist groups are also questioning the investigation and blamed that it was an attempt to malign these groups besides they also announced to defend Pragya Singh (Sadhvi) who has confessed her role in the bombing, and provide her legal help

BJP Initially denied any association with Pragya Singh but later supported her.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh also accused that those parties that once sought lethal POTA (Prevention of Terrorism Act) charges framed against suspects from minority communities were now asking the government to go easy on the Hindu right-wing extremists.

The probe after arrest of Sadhvi and Col Purohit led to Adityanath, the successor of Mahant Avaidyanath of the Gorakhpur Temple Trust, who is believed to be responsible for the BJP’s foothold in eastern Uttar Pradesh and also known for his Hindu awakening rallies.

He justified the attack on churches in Orissa following the killing of a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader. “The Hindu reaction (after the killing of the priest) is justified and it is high time that the Hindus should pick up weapons just like our gods and goddesses adorn weapons,” had said.

According to media Adityanath has been active in reconverting other religious groups, particularly the low-caste converts to Christianity, back into the Hindu fold. In 2005, a large group of 1,800 people were converted in the town of Etah.

    BJP’s Pakistan Phobia:

With emergence of Hindu terrorism, BJP which usually is not much fond of good relations with Pakistan, on November 19 said that Indian police probe into an army officer’s a
